Building bridges to bring healing and peace at individual and social levels has reflected her personal and career path.
Lissia is a teacher in languages and literature at the University of Paris XII, where she has also designed a course on well-being and relaxation. She is currently conducting her PhD research on “The Myths of Human Frontiers”, including gender, sexuality, race, and religion.
Passionate about bringing healing to people, she is also a yoga teacher and relaxation therapist using mindfulness methods, positive psychology, and non-violent communication (NVC) tools to help people overcome anxiety and depression. She also co-facilitates a weekly circle on reconnection and listening to nature among UN staff.
As part of her desire to restore our relationship to Nature, she co-founded the movement Listening to the Earth and joined the Climate Reality Leadership Corps. Lissia believes listening is the keystone to bridging divides at personal and societal levels.
