Also known as Jacqueline Debets, Vandana has served for years in public relations and local government policy and program management. She has also been a trainer in the Cascadia Center for Leadership and an advisor to the Climate Change and Consciousness conference at Findhorn (CCC19).
Since 2015, mediation has reshaped her mind and vision. She was blessed with the spiritual name “Vandana”, which means “Self-offering to Divine Mother”.
Today, she lives at Ananda Village, a modern ashram community of yogis in the Sierra Foothills of California, where she teaches meditation and plays mother to her vibrant son, Luc.
Vandana loves to write about the power of meditation, and to weave engaged people together in leadership for passionate purposes.
